FAQs Are all technical reports available? No. If the report was later published in a journal, this will usually supersede the TR. If this is the case, the TR is still listed with the citation indicating where it was eventually published. If you request that TR, you will receive the reprint. There are some cases where the authors feel that the TR has additional details or is different enough that they continue to make these available. This is noted in the description of the TR. What sorts of documents are in the Technical Report Series? The TR series was created as a way for Biostatistics faculty to refer to and distribute written material. For the most part, TRs are meant for unrestricted distribution. The series includes submitted manuscripts, marterial supplementary to published papers, computer program documentation, text from grant proposals, and class notes.
About the USC Biostatistics Division Technical Report Series on the Web We put the Technical Report Series on the Web in December 1998. The plan is to have at least an abstract for each TR available on the Web and to have many TRs directly downloadable. This will take time and we intend to work from the most recent TRs to the oldest. Any listed TR (or the reprint of a resulting paper) can be requested using the TR request form. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
