Longshoremen under the hook awaiting a container to be set on the chassis. A ‘signal man’ (L) directs containers, the ‘swing man’ (R) checks pins on containers.

A ‘top-handler’ is used to move this loaded container from the truck chassis to the stacks by grabbing it from the top.

A ‘transtainer’ (or Rubber Tired Gantry) is able to go to middle rows of stacks and move containers
