HOPE Partnership

The HOPE (Health Observances and Public Education) Partnership is a collaborative project among seven universities across the country. The innovative public health science education project is designed to enhance the public's scientific literacy. The overall mission of the project is to improve the public's perception and understanding of biomedical and health-related sciences and its impact of research on human health, while determining the most effective outreach methods to achieve the mission.

The HOPE Partnership is supported by a Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) from the National Center for Research Resources, National Institutes of Health (Grant No. R25 RR018790). SEPA was established to improve student and public understanding of science and also to increase the interest of young people in pursuing health science careers.
