AQMD's "New Perspectives on
Community Health and Air Quality Conference"
On July 24, 2009 the South Coast Air Quality Management District hosted a New Perspectives on Community Health and Air Quality Conference at the University of Southern California (USC) Davidson's Conference Center in Los Angeles . The conference provided information on public health impacts caused by air pollution and solutions for the future. The conference brought together elected officials, public health professionals, grass roots organizers, environmental activists and members of the environmental justice communities.
